Don Quijote is a group of Spanish schools across Spain and Latin America that was founded in 1986. They are internationally recognized for the quality of their teaching and the range of courses they offer. The school in Oaxaca is just four blocks from the Zocalo, the main square and centre of Oaxaca.
With Don Quijote you can take the same Spanish course in three other Mexican cities. If you start learning Spanish in one place and would like to continue your course in another, you only need to pay the registration fee once. Why not start your Spanish lessons in Oaxaca and then travel to Guanajuato or Playa del Carmen?
Don Quijote Oaxaca is in a central area, located only two blocks from the Santo Domingo Convent and with various restaurants, bars, shops and cafes nearby. The school is housed in an old colonial building with two courtyards. The school’s thick stone walls keep it pleasantly cool, even when it is very hot outside.
The Don Quijote team organizes a daily activity program including visits, salsa lessons, Mexican cooking lessons and cinema outings. Some of these activities are free and others are offered at a reduced price. The Don Quijote staff can also assist you to plan your own activities for your free time. All the Don Quijote teachers have a university degree and, on average, ten years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
